2020 Exhibition Game at Fenway in Honor of John Altobelli

An exhibition game at Fenway Park on July 9, 2020, will honor former Brewster Whitecaps head coach John Altobelli, his wife Keri and his daughter Alyssa who were in the tragic helicopter crash that also killed Kobe Bryant and his daughter.

Yankees scout Matt Hyde and Red Sox scout Ray Fagnant set up the game. The Orleans Firebirds will play a team of high school stars, according to Peter Gammons.

July 9th is an off-day for the Cape Cod Baseball League and the Boston Red Sox.
