2021 CCBL Schedule Released

The Cape Cod Baseball League has kept busy this offseason, and have released the 2021 schedule.

Here are the highlights:

• Opening Day: Saturday, June 12

• All-Star Game: Saturday, July 24 at Wareham (perhaps the last one ever at Clem Spillane Field?)

• Playoffs begin: Tuesday, August 3

• Most of the changes initially planned for the 2020 season have carried through:

  • The season is shortened to 40 games from 44

  • Teams will continue to play the other teams in their division six times

  • The interdivisional games are unbalanced; teams play one team four times, and the other four teams just three times

• No neutral site games

• No scheduled doubleheaders
