New Podcast: The Cape League and its Communities

The Cape Cod Baseball League launched a new podcast today: The Cape League and its Communities. The podcast is hosted by 2020 Intern Mikenzie Carbone and features interviews with the people behind the league, including board members and volunteers from each organization.

From the official news release:

Overall, the focus of this podcast is for light-hearted conversation while maintaining an educational preface that highlights the individuals that help make the league what it is. This includes but is not limited to what it takes behind the scenes to deliver fans a summer filled with baseball!

The podcast will be released weekly, with no announced end date. Listen to the first episode below, or in your favorite player.

In the first episode of "The Cape League and its Communities" podcast, hosted by Mikenzie Carbone, I speak with the leagues President Chuck Sturtevant, and Commissioner Eric Zmuda. We touch upon what their jobs entail during the off season, how COVID-19 has affected the league, a light hearted conversation about their favorite memories, and being a part of a family oriented organization.
