Another Cape League season is in the books.
The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox defeated the Hyannis Harbor Hawks to win the 2015 Cape League Championship. This is their 5th championship in their past 12 seasons, and their 2nd back-to-back championship in their past 10 seasons. They are now tied with Wareham for the 2nd most CCBL championships in the modern era, with 7 total. The franchise is winning at a pace similar to the Kettleers of the 70s-80s.
The Red Sox took game three on Wednesday night with a decisive 8-1 victory under the lights at McKeon Park. Here's a recap on the Y-D site.
